Valentines Day.

Y'all, I have been so crazy busy lately! I worked all day today so this post is late. I used Valentines day to totally relax! Aside from working all day! This year, I was so so excited to be a part of the Valentines Spread the Love Swap!!

I got my sweet package from Ashley! You can check her out HERE!!! I was so so excited to get home and open my package! I love, love, LOVE surprises!!!

PINK! I LOVE everything pink =)

Seriously, she did such a great job! I am obsessed with tumblers! This one is pink AND has hearts on it! PRESH! Sour Patch Kids are my fave candy ever!! Ummm, heart shaped cookie cutters?? Yes, please!! Precious pink pen and notepad!

I couldn't be happier!! I have used my tumbler everyday since I got it, and y'all know all that candy is already gone! Hahaha! I have the sweetest little Valentines, too! I am so blessed to have so many precious little girls in my life!!

I got the sweetest Valentines card from my youngest niece!
They call me AJ because that is so much easier than saying Aunt Jennifer. It took me forever to decide what they would call me. I love AJ and they both say it perfectly! But, they could call me anything and I wouldn't care!

UMMMM, Can you say adorable! Yes, I will always be her Valentine!!

Meet Violet. My best friends baby girl. Is she not?! I just want to squeeze her and hug her and love her!!

This beautiful little thing belongs to one of my other Bests and she asked me to be her Valentine, too! She loves her Jenny and Jenny loves her!  I mean, LOOK at those dimples!!!

I spent Valentines day mostly alone. (I'm totally okay with that.) I caught up on all my shows that were dvrd and ate tons of candy, plus a surprise cupcake that my best friend brought me!

I have really had a great week and I hope that y'all have too! I don't have to work tomorrow (Thank goodness) and I have a few projects planned! I can't wait to share them with y'all!!

Happy Friday!

Motivational Monday.

I know I need some motivation on Mondays. I'm sure the rest of you could use some too, so here you go =)

"Today is the day to move passed your past, move closer to your dreams, rise above your detractors, feel the fear and do it anyway, stoop below your ego, get out of your own way, and allow your life to amaze you."

“Today I shall behave, as if this is the day I will be remembered.”

"Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can't make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.  It is not enough to just say relationships are important; we must prove it by investing time in them. Words alone are worthless. "My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action." Relationships take time and effort, and the best way to spell love is "T-I-M-E."

"We are product of our past but we don't have to be prisoners of it."

"Experience is not what happens to you. It is what you do with what happens to you. Don’t waste your pain; use it to help others."

"Because God is with you all the time, no place is any closer to God than the place where you are right now."

"Happy moments, PRAISE GOD
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD
Painful moments, TRUST GOD
Every moment, THANK GOD"

Have a great day, y'all!

Life Update.

Oh, y'all. Things have just been so crazy. I think most of you saw my post about my Uncle Ben. He was shot early Saturday evening by his new wife. We aren't sure of all the details, but can only assume that it has something to do with his money. I'm not sure how she thought she would get away with shooting the Chief of Police. She is in jail. My uncle is doing better. Small improvements. He is still on a ventilator and will be until his lungs heal.(One of them collapsed.) The best news is that his brain is functioning completely normally. Praise the Lord!!! It will be a long road of recovery but the Drs are very hopeful! Please pray that he can avoid infection and that his lungs will heal quickly.

Between that and everything else, I have been crazy busy. Working 3 jobs, and going to class 2 nights a week is kicking my bootay. I'm tired. Exhausted actually. Tomorrow should be a nice day of rest.

In other news, I had the craziest thing happen to me last night!!! I got woken up at 2am this morning with my roommate telling me that my mom was on the phone and needed to talk to me. I had several missed calls from her, but my phone was on silent so I didn't hear it. Anyway, mom asks if I am home and if I am ok and tells me there has been an accident. I am immediately panicked. She goes on to tell me that there was an accident and my wallet was found at the scene. WHAT?!! I didn't even know that my wallet was missing. SO, drunk driver has an accident, flips his truck and my wallet was found at the scene. Everything in my wallet still has my parents address on it, so the cops send an officer to my parents house to wake them up and make sure I am ok. They totally freaked out!! I am ok. I was home sleeping!! Turns out, when I got gas yesterday, I left my wallet on my trunk. I made a big turn to get on the interstate and the wallet flew off into the grass. Hours later, a drunk guy made the same turn and rolled his truck. In processing the accident scene, they came across my wallet and assumed it had been stolen. This guy had a wreck exactly where my wallet was!!! What are the chances of that?? Slim to none. The officer at my parents house put me in contact with the officer that processed the scene and he brought my wallet to me at 3am. Seriously. I didn't even know it was gone. And the course of events led someone to it, and led them back to me...freaking my parents, my roommate and I out in the process.  BUT it got back to me before I really even realized it was gone!! My wallet had some scratches but nothing was missing. Everything in tact. Can I just say that God is so good! He constantly blesses me when I don't deserve it. I don't know if this will ever happen again, but I can say that I will never question His power again. He watches out for me even when I don't think I need to be watched out for. I am just so blessed. I have no idea what his purposed behind that situation was, but if nothing else, my faith is so much stronger today.

I hope you all have had a wonderful week and have an even better weekend!!

Prayers.

I don't normally do this, but if you would, would you please say a prayer for my uncle and my family today! My Uncle Ben, Police Chief at the Ashland Police Department was shot Saturday evening while off duty. The details are private right now. Just please keep my family in your prayers.

Thanks, y'all!
